Meeting with Hon. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, the secretary of the Department of Tourism, the Republic of the Philippines.

On 18th March 2022, Hiroyuki Suzuki, Chairperson of the International Committee of Kankeiren, had a meeting with Hon. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, the Secretary of the Department of Tourism of the Republic of the Philippines.
Chairperson Suzuki introduced the 'Kankeiren ASEAN Management Seminar', which has been conducted by inviting managers from ASEAN countries including the Philippines, as well as the "Universal taste of Japan Roundtable", which is promoted by the Tourism working group of the Asia Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform). Secretary Puyat introduced the WTTC* Summit to be held in the Philippines in April, and also spoke about the importance of passing on food culture. They agreed on the continued cooperation in the field of food tourism in the future.
*WTTC is an abbreviation for World Travel & Tourism Council.
Meeting with Mr, George Barcelon, President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On Friday, March 4, 2022, Chairman Masayoshi Matsumoto held an online meeting with Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President, Mr. George Barcelon. The PCCI is a partner organization of the Asian Business Creation Platform ("ABC Platform") in the Philippines.
Chairman Matsumoto shared the progress of the ABC Platform project and commented "I sincerely hope that the strong ties between PCCI and Kankeiren will serve as a base for revitalizing business opportunities for member companies and the economies of both countries." Mr. Barcelon replied "I would like to be involved in the ABC Platform project as one of the activities to support member companies hit by the Corona disaster."

On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, our chairman Mr. Masayoshi Matsumoto held an online meeting with Mr. Wandi Warandi, Chairman of the Japan Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). KADIN is the partner organization of the Asian Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform) in Indonesia.
Chairman Matsumoto reported to Mr. Warandi on the progress of the ABC Platform project and asked for continued cooperation. Mr. Warandi commented with his strong interest in cooperation with Kankeiren, "It is important for both Kankeiren and KADIN to work closely together. I look forward to getting information continuously from Kankeiren."
Meeting with Mr. Lowe Kian Chuan, President of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On Tuesday, February 15, 2022, our Chairman Mr. Masayoshi Matsumoto held an online meeting with Mr. Lowe Kian Chuan, President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM).
NCCIM is a partner organization of the Asian Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform), and the two organizations are working together mainly in the areas of tourism and human resource development and utilization.
Chairman Matsumoto reported on the progress of the ABC Platform and requested future cooperation. Mr. Loh commented, "The efforts of the Tourism Subcommittee of the ABC Platform involve various industries and are expected to have a large economic impact. We would like to continue to encourage Malaysian companies to participate in the platform. We will also participate in the 2nd Plenary Meeting to be held in Singapore," he said, with a view to further strengthening cooperation.

On 15th December 2021, our chairman, Mr. Masayoshi Matsumoto, had an online meeting with Mr. Chirapan Oulapathorn, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Thai-Japanese Industrial Cooperation Institute (TJIC).
FTI is a partner organization of the Asian Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform) in Thailand. Thai-Japanese Industrial Cooperation Institute (TJIC) was established by FTI to strengthen cooperation between Japan and Thailand in trade, investment, technology, innovation and human resources development.
Chairman Matsumoto reported to Chairman Oulapathorn on the progress of the ABC Platform project and requested continued cooperation. Chairman Oulapathorn expressed his strong willingness to cooperate with Kankeiren, saying that he would like to further collaborate in the fields of agriculture and tourism, as well as in the start-up sector.
Online meeting with Mr. Douglas Foo, President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation

On 1st December 2021, our chairman, Masayoshi Matsumoto, had an online meeting with Mr. Douglas Foo, President of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation. The Federation is a partner organization of Asia Business Creation Platform (ABC Platform) in Singapore, and the meeting was held as a part of a series of top-level meetings.
Chairman Matsumoto reported to Chairman Foo on the progress of ABC Platform project and asked for continued cooperation. Chairman Foo said that he would continue to strongly support ABC Platform project and expressed his strong willingness to cooperate with Kankeiren. It was also agreed to consider holding a plenary meeting of ABC Platform in Singapore in the coming year.
